Vinayan introduces Kayadu Lohar, the heroine of Pathonpathaam Noottandu

While revealing the second poster of his upcoming period drama titled

Pathonpathaam Noottandu

, director Vinayan revealed its heroine – Kayadu Lohar. The Pune native and the winner of Pune Times Fresh Face 2019 will be making her debut through the film by playing a pivotal character from Kerala’s history.

“Let me inform you of the happy news that the shoot of Pathonpathaam Noottandu is progressing well. More than that, what makes me glad is that I am sure that I can add to the league of Malayalam stars, the film’s hero Siju Wilson and heroine Kayadu Lohar. Also, revealing a new poster of the movie,” wrote director Vinayan on his social media post.

Meanwhile, the movie’s hero Siju Wilson, who plays the film’s lead character of the 19th century caste and kalaripayattu warrior Aarattupuzha Velayudha Panicker, wrote, “Introducing Kayadu Lohar to Malayalam cinema in Pathombathaam Noottandu.”

The movie is currently being shot with Palakkad and Cherthala being the main locations. The cast of the film also includes Anoop Menon, Deepti Sati, Sudev Nair and Suresh Krishna. Shaji is the cinematographer of the movie, which has music composed by M Jayachandran.
