Vinayakan distances himself from cinema associations

State awardwinning actor Vinayakan in an interview said that he isn't part of any association in cinema and said his support is always with women subjected to oppression.
Vinayakan said that he isn't a member of A.M.M.A or WCC and said he doesn't have any intention to create a rift in the actors association but insisted the associations function in a democratic manner.
The actor also said that when a woman is assaulted, no matter what, he'll stand with her and support her. Vinayakan added that he is not a person who digs into others' private issues and his prime concern is his livelihood. The unconventional actor said his only thought is how to become a superstar who is black in colour.
