Actors Vinayakan and Suraj Venjaramoodu are set to share the screen for the first time in the upcoming movie 'Thekku Vadakku.' The auspicious puja ceremony for the film took place at the Sri Thirupuraikkal Bhagavathy Temple in Puthur, Palakkad.
Scripted by S. Hareesh, known for his work on the Mammootty-starrer 'Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam,' and directed by Prem Shankar, the film is an adaptation of Hareesh's story titled 'Ratri Kaval.' Adding musical flair to the project is Sam C.S., a renowned composer celebrated for his contributions to critically acclaimed films like 'Vikram Vedha,' 'Kaithi,' 'Odiyan,' and 'RDX.'
S. Hareesh, with a track record of scripting for notable films such as 'Aedan,' 'Jallikattu,' 'Churuli,' and 'Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam,' lends his creative touch to 'Thekku Vadakku.' Director Prem Shankar, recognized for his debut film 'Randuper.'

The film boasts a skilled technical team, with Suresh Rajan handling cinematography, known for his work in films like 'Kuttavum Shikshayum,' 'Valiyaperunnal,' 'Kismath,' and 'Vela.' Meanwhile, Vinayakan was last seen in Malayalam in the Asif Ali starrer 'Kasargold' which unfortunately didn't work well at the box office due to mediocre reviews.
