‘Vikram’ to ‘Bheeshma Parvam’: Top 5 opening day grossers at the Kerala box office

From ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ to the recently released ‘Vikram’, the Kerala Box office has witnessed a definite rise in its numbers on the opening day itself. ‘KGF: Chapter 2’

The Yash starrer ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ stands high as the top opening day grosser at the Kerala box office. Prashanth Neel’s directorial film reportedly earned Rs 7.52 crores at the Kerala box office on its first day and even surpassed Mohanlal’s ‘Odiyan’ opening day collection.

‘Odiyan’

Even though Sreekumar Menon’s directorial film ‘Odiyan’ garnered negative responses from the audience, the film gained much traction from the audience due to its heavy promotional work. ‘Odiyan’ reportedly earned over Rs 7.10 crores at the Kerala box office on day 1.

‘Beast’

Vijay- Nelson Dilipkumar’s thriller ‘Beast’ also garnered many mixed responses from the audience. Vijay proved to be a star even with such negative responses as the film crossed Rs 6.6 crores on its opening day at the Kerala box office.

‘Vikram’

The recent entry into the Kerala box office day 1 collection records is Kamal Haasan’s action entertainer ‘Vikram’ which was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film reportedly collected over Rs 5 crores at the Kerala box office and looking at the fact that the film is getting rave reviews from the audience, ‘Vikram’ will surely collect more in the coming days.

‘Bheeshma Parvam’

Mammootty - Amal Neerad combo never disappoints and its recent example is the action entertainer ‘Bheeshma Parvam’. The film officially entered the Rs 100 crore club and on its first day, the film reportedly collected Rs 6.15 crores at the Kerala box office.
