Vijay Babu seems to be the natural choice to play suave executive roles in
Mollywood
, of late. The actor, who has donned such roles in movies including Neena and Akashvani, will essay the character again in the upcoming movie
Tham Thakam Pathakam
, directed by John Joseph.
The director says, 'Vijay plays Nandan Menon and moves from Bengaluru to Kerala with family, consisting of his wife and a daughter. It is a road movie and the actors have also tried out some daring stunts in it.'
The director says that the movie is a visual thriller, not a story-driven film. 'Pathakam' translates to a grave error in English, and the 'Tham Thakam' portion is weaved in for a rhyming effect. This is a movie which says that we don't know who our enemies are, and that they might be people we know quite well.'
The movie, which is also scripted by John, has
Parvathy Nair playing Vijay's wife Radhika and has a car and lorry chase at its core.
