Captioning the video as 'My awesome journey', she also used hashtags to shed light on the stigma, pain, and loneliness, she endured during her transition.
Anjali Ameer rose to fame essaying a pivotal character in the
Mammootty starrer 'Peranbu'. She is also the first trans person to star opposite the superstar, that too in a lead role. The actress recently made headlines for going vocal about her relationship and claimed that she has been getting threats.
On the work front, the actress is planning on making her biopic, in which she will discuss the struggles her community goes through. Anjali will be playing the lead in the film that is expected to go on floors soon.
