Writer Abhilash Pillai took to his official Facebook handle to share the happiness that the director Hariharan called him and praised the movie ‘Malikappuram’.
‘Malikappuram’ writer’s Facebook note read, “Received a phone call from the legendary director Hariharan who has delivered the classics ‘Oru Vadakkan Veeragadha’, ‘Panchagni’ and ‘Pazhassiraja’. Hariharan sir talked to me about the script of ‘Malikappuram’, and said that he was very much impressed by it. This has given me the energy to pen down stories for another 20 years.”
Abhilash Pillai further said that Hariharan also loved every aspect of ‘Malikappuram’ ranging from music to direction. The promising writer ended with a note that read, “Thank you legend Hariharan sir from our ‘Malikappuram’ team.

Vishnu Sasi Shankar, ‘Malikappuram’ revolved around the story of two kids who visit Sabarimala. The script of this Unni Mukundan starrer was penned down by Abhilash Pillai and the music was composed by Ranjin Raj.
