Veteran cinematographer C Ramachandra Menon passed away

Veteran cinematographer C Ramachandra Menon aged 88 passed away at Kozhikode on Tuesday.
As per the reports he had been under treatment at a private hospital during his final days following old- age related ailments. He was the cameraman for over 150 Malayalam films and had also worked in Tamil movies.
Some the notable Malayalam films he worked include hits like Ummachu (film adaptation of Uroob's novel directed by P Bhaskaran), Muthassi, Mukkuvane Snehicha Bhootham, Othenente Makan directed and produced by Kunchacko, Thoppil Bhasi's Ningalenne Communistakki, Eetta directed by IV Sasi and Akale Aakaasham.The funeral was held at Mavoor road crematorium on Wednesday.
He is survived by two children, Maya Harigovind and Gautham Menon.
