‘Varshangalkku Shesham’ box office collections day 16: Dhyan Sreenivasan’s film mints Rs 1.05 crores

Dhyan Sreenivasan's comedy-drama film, ‘Varshangalkku Shesham,’ continues its steady box office journey, adding another Rs 1.05 crores to its collection on the 16th day of its theatrical run. While ‘Varshangalkku Shesham’ maintained its momentum, Fahadh Faasil's action-packed venture, ‘Aavesham,’ soared high, raking in over Rs 3 crores on the same day.

According to figures from the Sacnilk website, ‘Varshangalkku Shesham’ has collected a total of Rs 33.95 crores within its 16-day stint at the Indian box office. Despite facing tough competition, the film has sustained its appeal among audiences.

The occupancy rates for ‘Varshangalkku Shesham’ on April 26, 2024, stood at an overall 33.87% across Malayalam theaters. Notably, the film saw a surge in attendance during evening shows, with an impressive 49.59% occupancy, while morning and afternoon shows recorded 16.83% and 35.20% occupancies, respectively. However, night shows registered a 0% occupancy.

Directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan, ‘Varshangalkku Shesham’ is a period comedy drama set in the South Indian Film Industry. The film boasts a star-studded cast including Pranav Mohanlal, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Nivin Pauly, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Y. G. Mahendran, Shaan Rahman, Neeta Pillai, Aju Varghese, Basil Joseph, Neeraj Madhav, and Vineeth Sreenivasan himself in supporting roles.

The film's original songs and background score, composed by debutant Amrit Ramnath, have also received praise from audiences and critics alike.
