Anand Menon’s recently released Malayalam comedy-drama ‘Vaazha’ has been performing impressively at the box office, earning significant attention for its unique narrative and relatable characters. According to the latest reports, the film collected Rs 10.48 crores in its first week.
‘Vaazha – Biopic of a Billion Boys’, focuses on the lives of five friends often dismissed by society as “losers.” The storyline delves into their personal challenges, friendships, and the often complicated relationships they share with their parents. Through a series of events that many young adults might find all too familiar, ‘Vaazha’ explores the struggles these young men face coupled with a comedic narrative.
‘Vaazha’ opened to positive responses, and its box office performance reflects its strong appeal among audiences. On day 7 alone, the film earned Rs 83 lakhs, bringing its total collection over the first week to a commendable Rs 10.48 crores.
Directed by Anand Menen and written by Vipin Das, Vaazha boasts an ensemble cast that includes Jagadish, Kottayam Nazeer, Azees Nedumangad, Siju Sunny, Amith Mohan, Rajeswari, Joemon Jyothir, Anuraj OB, and Saaf Boi.
