'Vaazha 2' box office collection day 10: Hashir and team's film crosses Rs 125 crores worldwide

'Vaazha 2: Biopic of a Billion Bros' has crossed a major milestone at the box office. The Hashir starrer has collected Rs 125.93 crores worldwide in ten days as per the latest updates.

Strong worldwide collections of 'Vaazha 2'

According to Sacnilk, 'Vaazha 2' has collected Rs 61.15 Cr net in India so far, with the India gross standing at Rs 70.78 Cr. Overseas markets have contributed Rs 55.15 Cr, taking the total worldwide gross to Rs 125.93 Cr.




On Day 9 (second Friday), the film collected Rs 6.10 Cr net. Week 1 collections stood at Rs 55.05 Cr. Day 8 saw Rs 7.85 Cr, while Day 7 brought in Rs 7.00 Cr.

'Vaazha 2' storyline and our verdict

'Vaazha 2' follows four friends labelled as losers and troublemakers who embark on an emotional journey of self-discovery.

ETimes review says, "The film also explores sibling bonds, and not just within one generation. It doesn't gloss over everything with rosy, feel-good moments, but rather shows how these bonds develop through experiences. It also touches upon the UK dreams of the current generation, painting a realistic picture for an average student. The music (composed under Ankit Menon's supervision) is spot on and adds to the overall feel of the film. The female presence, while not non-existent, is not very substantial either. But they really did not forget the women here. The mothers, sisters, girlfriends and classmates are catalysts to the plot. There is also a cameo from the Vaazha 1 main cast — a stellar one at that."

Directed by Savin S. A. in his debut, 'Vaazha 2' stars Hashir, Alan Bin Siraj, Ajin Joy, and Vinayak V. in lead roles. Vijay Babu, Aju Varghese, Bijukuttan, Alphonse Puthren, and Sudheesh play important supporting parts.

The film is a sequel to the 2024 hit Vaazha: Biopic of a Billion Boys.
