‘Vaathil’ trailer: Lies, deceit, and mystery; Vinay Forrt - Anu Sithara’s film promises a perfect thriller

Although the first look posters promised a family drama movie, the trailer for ‘Vaathil’ which was unveiled by the makers on the last day, promises a complete mystery thriller that revolves around a toxic husband and wife played by Vinay Forrt and Anu Sithara.

The trailer opens with Vinay Forrt’s narration saying that he wants to put a complete full stop to his miserable life. Seeking advice from his friend, played by Krishna Shankar, Vinay Forrt tries all his ways to come back to his ordinary self, which is then hampered by his suspicious wife and all the other characters that surround him.

Coming with the tagline, Hold me tight’, ‘Vaathil’ seems to be following a very different path of conveying a mystery story with the backdrop of a perfectly created family drama. Overall the movie’s trailer looks promising.

Helmed by the director Sarju Remakanth, the story of ‘Vaathil’ is penned by the writer Shamnad Shabeer and the music is composed by Sejo John. Sabu Ram is roped in as the art director and the makeup department is handled by Amal Chandran. John Kutty is in charge of the editing department of the film.
