Tovino Thomas - Keerthy Suresh starrer is getting reportedly a final verdict of being a disaster at the Kerala box office as it has reportedly minted only Rs 1.2 crores. The film was released on 17th June.
According to the Twitter forums that track box office collections, the Tovino Thomas starrer courtroom drama movie ‘Vaashi’ has reportedly earned only Rs 1.2 crores at the Kerala box office and the worldwide collection of the film is reportedly estimated to be about Rs 1.8 crores.
Although the film directed by Vishnu Raghav received highly positive responses from the audience due to its execution style and magnificent performances, the film seems to be performing poorly at the box office. Reportedly, the Tovino Thomas starrer only managed to mint Rs 27 lakhs on its opening day and within three days the film reportedly earned Rs 85 lakhs.
'Vaashi' told the story of two lovers who are advocates and needs to lock horns with each other to win a particular controversial case which in turn leads to a crack in their relationship.

On a positive note, 'Vaashi's OTT rights have been reportedly bagged by a popular OTT platform for a whopping amount of Rs 10 crores. The OTT release of the film will be later announced by the makers.
Meanwhile, Tovino Thomas is gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie ‘Thallumaala’ which is scheduled for August 12 this year. Directed by Khalid Rahman, ‘Thallumaala’ has the actress Kalyani Priyadarshan in the female lead role.
