Uthara Unni says why her mom is her best friend

Actress dancer Uthara Unni is often spotted with her mom, actress Urmila Unni. Uthara said recently on her page that her mom is her best friend. Posting a photo in which the mom-daughter duo wear matching outfits in yellow, Uthara went on to explain, “Great friendship doesn't mean you are in the same age group. You needn't have gone to the same school or college or worked together. It's the deep understanding, the deep connection and the unconditional love. To think alike, to know what you are going to say without even having to explain, to never judge you, to stand by you even when the world is against you. Yes, all mothers love their children with all their heart, no doubt in that. But only some mothers can be as awesome as a best friend and some best friends care unconditionally like mothers... I think I have partied with my mom or had late night talks or discussed boyfriend issues or even done adventure sports more with her than with any of my best friends. I wouldn't have even gotten a tattoo if she did not have plans to get one. She's way too cooler than me. We have always been twinning, not just in clothes. Because she's mentally 10 years younger than me or always ahead of me. We all need some yellow in our life and colours never go out of style!”A few months ago, Uthara was engaged to Nithesh Nair, a businessman, from Mangalore. Though the couple had plans to get married in April, they later postponed the wedding due to the ongoing Covid – 19 restrictions.
