"Until we meet again,” Meera Jasmine pens a heartfelt note on her father’s demise

Actress Meera Jasmine’s father, Joseph Philip, passed away on Thursday, April 4. He was 83. Following the unfortunate demise of her father, Meera Jasmine took to Instagram to share poignant throwback pictures of her father, along with a heartfelt message. In the caption, she wrote, "Until we meet again," expressing her deep emotions about the loss.

Joseph Philip’s funeral will be held on Sunday, April 7, at the Valliapalli Mar Thoma church cemetery, Elanthoor Pathanamthitta.

In an official statement, Meera Jasmine said, “We would like to inform you with a heavy heart the demise of Mr Joseph Philip (83) son of Late Mr. P. M Philip Thazhayill Puthenveetil resident of Elanthoor Pathanamthitta. The Late Mr Joseph was earlier based in Mumbai and later took up residence at Thiruvalla and Cochin. He is survived by his spouse Mrs Aleyamma Joseph of Kadamattu family from Edathua and children Joemon, Jeny Susan, Sara Robin, Meera Jasmine and Georgy along with his extended family in laws Renjith Jose, Robin George.He leaves behind two grandchildren Michelle and Eleana. He will be brought to our residence at 10 am on Saturday, 6th April. Please join us in prayers at 2 pm at our residence in Kochi Kadavanthra, Vikas nagar for the 1st rituals and subsequently for the funeral on Sunday 7th of April 4 pm at the Valliapalli Mar Thoma church cemetery in Elanthoor Pathanamthitta by Rt. Reverent Dr. Joseph Mar Barnabas Suffragan Metropolitan.”

Meera Jasmine’s friends and colleagues from the industry have extended condolences to the family.
