’ has completed filming and the team has called it a wrap on Thursday (December 3). The team was filming in Erattupetta, Kerala, and had wrapped the shoot yesterday. Unni Mukundan is essaying the lead in the film and ‘Meppadiyan’also marks his maiden production venture, under his home banner Unni Mukundan Films Pvt Ltd.

Unni Mukundan took to his social media handle to announce the packup. “#Meppadiyan Pack Up! 03/12/2020 Thank you all,” he tweeted sharing a few pictures from the sets of the film.

Unni Mukundan has earlier shared with us that ‘Meppadiyan’ is a film that he is looking forward to and also revealed that he is playing Jayakrishnan, a mechanic. The fitness enthusiast actor has also gained 15 kilos for the role and is undeniably an ambitious project for the star.


Actors Indrans, Saiju Kurup, Aju Varghese, and Anju Kurian will be essaying some pivotal roles in the movie. The movie also features Vijay Babu, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Aparna Janardhanan, Nisha Sarang, Kundara Johny, Major Ravi, Sreejith Ravi, Kottayam Ramesh, Pauly Wilson, Krishna Prasad, and Manohari Amma in the supporting cast.

Directed by Vishnu Mohan. ‘Meppadiyan’ had Neil D’Cunha as the cinematographer. Shameer Muhammad is the editor and Sabu Mohan is the art director for ‘Meppadiyan’. Rahul Subramanian will be composing the music. The team will be soon heading for post-production.
