Unni Mukundan’s ‘Marco’ gets December 2024 release - Details Inside

Unni Mukundan’s highly anticipated upcoming film ‘Marco’ is gearing up for its release. The film is set to be arriving in time for the festive season this December.

Touted to be high octane actioner, the film is set to release in theatres for Christmas 2024. Unni dropped a new poster confirming the release and wrote, “Violence Incoming: Let’s Cut the Christmas Cake with Cubes Entertainment.”

‘Marco’ will be released in five languages - Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.

Mukundan’s stylish look for the film was recently unveiled when the makers dropped the BTS videos, and it has already created significant buzz on social media. The makers have confirmed that the film is packed with violence, and the audience could also expect some high-octane action sequences. The stunt choreography is executed by renowned action director Kalai Kingston. The film will feature seven intense fight sequences, choreographed by Kalai Kingston, who, for the first time, is serving as the fight master for a full-fledged action film.

Directed by Haneef Adeni, the upcoming film is a spin-off to the character Marco, played by Unni Mukundan in the 2019 film ‘Mikhael’.

Starring Unni Mukundan, the film also has actors Siddique, Jagadish, Anson Paul, Kabir Duhan Singh (of “Turbo” fame), Abhimanyu Thilakan, Yukti Thareja, and several promising newcomers in supporting roles.


It also marks the Malayalam debut of celebrated music director Ravi Basrur, known for his chart-topping compositions in films such as ‘K.G.F’, and ‘Salaar’. The shoot for ‘Marco’ was wrapped up a few months ago and the film is currently in its post-production stage.
