Unni Mukundan’s dad to act in ‘Shefeekkinte Santhosham’

2022 was a year of many firsts for actor Unni Mukundan. From trying his hands at production to stepping foot intor a new aesthetics of cinema, 2022 has been a year of reinvention for the actor. Well, that’s not all! Unni Mukundan is introducing someone very special to him through his upcoming film ‘Shefeekkinte Santhosham’. The young star’s dad will be making his acting debut with the film, which features Unni Mukundan in the lead. And Unni Mukundan has now shared the same via his social media post. The actor also divulged that his dad would have made his acting debut earlier, with ‘Meppadiyan’, however, it didn’t happen.

“This is so special for me !! Achan, completes his part in @shefeekkintesanthosham today ! He was supposed to act In Meppadiyan but then I chopped off his portion in the scripting time. @vishnumohanstories still feels he must have acted in meppadiyan☺️. Anyways, since I didn’t get the benefits of nepotism, I choose to do the reverse nepotism here and have successfully got my achan kutty his on screen debut �� Now I totally understand how nepotism works, family is always special and important. Anyways, I hope you guys love Shefeek when he comes on screen ! Cheers �� @actoranup_,” Unni Mukundan said, sharing a picture of his dad from the studio.

Speaking to ETimes earlier, Unni Mukundan shared, “‘Shefeekkinte Santhosham’ is a family-cum-romantic film. As the title suggests, the film is about Shefeek’s happiness.” The film is directed by debutant Anoop, and the team has headed to the post-production stage.
