Unni Mukundan to star in a Jayaraj directorial

M-Town’s heartthrob Unni Mukundan is riding high on success and the charming star has now announced his collaboration with National award-winning filmmaker Jayaraj! Unni Mukundan has joined hands with the acclaimed filmmaker for an upcoming project.
Unni Mukundan was elated to work with the filmmaker. The actor took to his social media handle to make the announcement and also shared that he is ‘honoured’ to be working with one of his favourite filmmakers.
“It’s a dream come true for me, to be joining hands with one of the most versatile directors of this country. Honoured to work with the National Award-winning director and the director of one of my personal favourite movie, Deshadanam, Shri Jayaraj sir,” Unni Mukundan said.

If reports are to be believed, Unni Mukundan was earlier approached by filmmaker Jayaraj to play a part in a segment for an upcoming anthology film, however, the actor was on a tight schedule. And now the two are reportedly collaborating for a feature film.
Meanwhile, Unni Mukundan’s recent outing was ‘Bhramam’, a remake of the Bollywood blockbuster ‘Andhadhun’. The movie was released on an OTT platform this month and Unni Mukundan played the role of Dinesh Prabhakar, a cop.
On the work front, Unni Mukundan was filming for ‘12th Man’ with Mohanlal lately. The movie is helmed by Jeethu Joseph and Unni Mukundan has roped in to play an important role in the film.

Unni Mukundan also has his ambitious projects ‘Meppadiyan’ and ‘Bruce Lee’ in the pipeline.
