Unni Mukundan has made his return to Tamil, with ‘Garudan’, after over a decade. He shared the screen with Soori and Sasikumar in the film helmed by RS Durai Senthilkumar.
Unni Mukundan, who marked his debut in the cinema with the 2011 film, ‘Seedan’, expressed that he loves the language. Talking to Cinema Express, Unni Mukundan said that he loves Tamil, and there is a sense of contentment he feels while speaking in the language.
The actor also walked memory lane and spoke about how he was in Chennai for two-three years for the film. He also spoke about his recent experience of teaming up with RS Durai Senthilkumar. Unni Mukundan shared that for over two days, Durai didn't take any of his close-ups. When Unni Mukundan inquired about this, Durai explained that he was studying Mukundan's movements and thinking about how to incorporate them into the rest of the production. Mukundan expressed his appreciation for this thoughtful and open-minded approach to filmmaking, noting that it is something he will always treasure from his time on the set of 'Garudan'.
