Unni Mukundan reacts to a hate campaign targeting his upcoming release, ‘Jai Ganesh’

Unni Mukundan’s much-awaited film ‘Jai Ganesh’, helmed by Ranjith Sankar, is slated for release on April 11. The actor and the team are quite confident about how the film has turned out; however, Unni Mukundan’s latest note (on social media) suggests that ‘Jai Ganesh’ is being targeted by hate campaigns even before its release.

Unni Mukundan shared a photo that suggests that several fake news stories are circulating on social media, targeting ‘Jai Ganesh’. “How low will you go to bring down a movie that hasn’t even been released? This random thing of trying to kill a movie started on January 1 and is still going on. Statements that I never made and words that I never spoke are being circulated just to bring down a cinema,” Unni Mukundan said in his social media note.

His note further reads, “Whoever is doing it, trust me, it’s just in your dreams that either me or my cinema will fail. Like I said to the gentleman who sent me the message, I say the same here: the ones who know me will behave sensibly. See you at the movies! #JaiGanesh April 11: I have theatres near you. UMF will distribute its first film with Jai Ganesh.”

Keeping aside my modesty, I’ll honestly say that Jai Ganesh is the best film that I have been a part of as an actor, and I guarantee goosebumps on screen on April 11. "Vishu with Jai Ganesh,” Unni Mukundan said.
