. He will be sharing the screen with Prithviraj Sukumaran in ‘Bhramam’ and Unni Mukundan cannot stop gushing about his co-star. In an exclusive conversation with

, Unni Mukundan opened up about a heartwarming bond he shares with Prithviraj Sukumaran.

It was during Unni Mukundan's salad days when he first met Prithviraj Sukumaran. There was a small event in the evening and Unni Mukundan took an autorickshaw to reach the venue. It was late-night when the event concluded and the stars were leaving. Prithviraj Sukumaran saw Unni Mukundan and offered him a drive back home. Though Unni Mukundan politely turned down the offer, as he didn’t want to bother Prithviraj, he was surely blown away by the gesture.

“Raju (Prithviraj Sukumaran) treated me so well, even when I was nobody. People hardly knew my name and I was just a beginner. I cannot forget the way he treated me. And that itself is an introduction to the person he is!” Unni Mukundan said, recalling his first meeting with Prithviraj Sukumaran.

And working with the same person for a film was undeniably an exhilarating experience for Unni Mukundan. “I have always wanted to work with him. He is one of the actors I have admired over the years and also prior to entering the industry. The way he treats people… He is a thorough gentleman. He is not just an exceptional actor, but also a compassionate individual,” Unni Mukundan shared.

“And I have heard a lot about the way he works. Raju has a very serious and professional approach towards cinema and I always wanted to watch it in person. And of course, I learned a lot while we worked together for ‘Bhramam’,” Unni Mukundan concluded.

remake of the award-winning Bollywood movie ‘Andhadhun’ and the cinephiles are eagerly waiting for the release.
