Unni Mukundan posts support to delivery boy who was treated roughly

Unni Mukundan, who often responds to issues on social media and does his part to help, brought attention to the rough treatment that a

received. The actor reposted the message put up by food delivery boy Sanuf Mohad, which has since received nearly 5.5 lakh views and several messages of support from social media influencers in the food industry.

Responding to Sanuf’s message that he was made to wait for a long time outside a restaurant in

Palakkad

to pick up the delivery,

wrote, “Dear bro, I started out as a freelancer myself… u r no less than any big shot in the town… my heart goes out to all the delivery boys who work very hard! Food is the most basic necessity of all n u guys bring it to us! It’s a request to not treat them as second grade citizens or misbehave with them… I have seen young boys ride crazy fast to deliver the food on time! Stay strong bro and kudos for speaking out (sic).”


In his video post, Sanuf says that he is an engineering student and he does not feel that the work is beneath him, and explains that he and other delivery boys are made to wait out in the hot sun for long at one particular restaurant in Palakkad, which is particularly difficult as he is fasting in the Ramzan month.
