‘Ullasam’ Box Office Collection Day 3: Shane Nigam starrer fun entertainer mints Rs 45 lakhs

The recently released Mollywood comedy entertainer ‘Ullasam’ has indeed taken the actor Shane Nigam out of the clutches of being typecast into serious and depressing roles. The film is getting good responses from the audience and has reportedly minted Rs 45 lakhs within three days.

The Shane Nigam starrer hit the big screens on July 1st and as per the Twitter forums that track the box office collections, ‘Ullasam’ has earned Rs 45 lakhs in three days.With the good responses that the film is gaining from the audience, ‘Ullasam’ is expected to perform much better in the coming days.

Helmed by the newbie director Jeevan Jojo, the script of ‘Ullasam’ is penned down by Praveen Balakrishnan who has previously scripted the Mammootty starrer romantic drama film ‘White’.

‘Ullasam’ tells the story of two strangers coming from different backgrounds and meeting together while on a trip from Ooty to Kerala. The story progresses as both of them start to develop a connection through meeting different people and having different circumstances throughout the journey.
‘Ullasam’ marked the acting debut of Pavithra Lakshmi in the Malayalam film industry and the actor played the female lead in the film. Swaroop Philip handles the camera for ‘Ullasam’ and John Kutty was roped in as the editor. Shaan Rahman composed the music for the fun entertainer along with Gopi Sundar as the background music composer.
Apart from Shane Nigam, ‘Ullasam’ is stacked with a list of wonderful actors including Aju Varghese, Basil Joseph, Deepak Parambol, Ambika, and Renji Panicker.
