Two men arrested in Asha's fake video case

There have been instances wherein women were subjected to victimisation after derogatory videos of them were posted online.
There has been a hesitation on their part to open up about the issue or react against it in public – may it be ordinary women or celebrities for that matter. However, Asha Sharath has triumphed in giving a strong message to women out there, by vehemently taking to the legal system and consistently keeping the police on their toes, until the culprits were caught.
The two culprits, who were identified as belonging to Malappuram, had uploaded a fake defamatory video on social networking platforms, following which Asha had registered a complaint.
