After the success of Prithviraj starrer ‘Driving license’, director Jean-Paul Lal aka Lal Jr, sets to hit the screen with his next film casting
Tovino Thomas as the lead. Cinematographer Alby Antony recently took to Instagram and shared a picture with Tovino, Jean-Paul, and other crew members. Alby Anthony has also worked with Tovino Thomas as a cinematographer in his previous film ‘Kaanekkane’ which was directed by Manu Ashokan under the brilliant script of Bobby and Sanjay.
As per reports the upcoming film by Lal Jr.
is said to be a feel-good commercial entertainer. Lal Jr. has also done a comedy film ‘Tsunami’ after ‘Driving license’ which was co-directed by his own father Lal.
The 2019 film ‘Driving license’, directed by Lal Jr, got a wide positive response from the audience. The film was hugely complimented for balancing the conflict between the protagonist and the antagonist and leaving it to the audience on deciding what’s right and wrong. ‘Driving License’ was also backed up by the exceptional script by late director-cum-writer Sachi and terrific performances by the leads Prithviraj and Suraj Venjaarammoodu. Jean-Paul’s 2014 psychological thriller film ‘Hi I’m Tony’ showed how well he could engage the audience with a unique concept and its execution. All of these factors soars the hype for Lal Jr. 's next film.
