Tovino Thomas has officially revealed the title of his upcoming film, ‘Narivetta.’ The announcement was made during an event held on Sunday, July 21.
Tovino also took to Twitter to share the title poster, writing, “Excited to reveal #Narivetta, directed by Anuraj Manohar. Grateful for this opportunity and eager to share more soon!”
The title poster provides an eagle-eye view of a remote village seemingly in strife, hinting at a setting affected by violence, possibly an attack or a riot.
Directed by Anuraj Manohar, known for his work in ‘Ishq,’ ‘Narivetta’ boasts an impressive ensemble cast. Joining Tovino Thomas are acclaimed actors Suraj Venjaramoodu, Tamil actor-director Cheran of ‘Autograph’ fame, Arya Salim, Priyamvadha Krishnan, and Rini Udayakumar.
The announcement of ‘Narivetta’ comes at a time when Tovino Thomas is looking to bounce back from his recent film, ‘Nadikar,’ which unfortunately did not meet audience expectations. Directed by Jr. Lal, ‘Nadikar’ featured Tovino in the role of an on-screen superstar named David Padikkal. Despite the high hopes, the film failed to impress viewers.
Also Tovino’s recent outing ‘Anweshippin Kandethum’ which received good reviews from the audiences, unfortunately failed to work any magic at the box office.
