Tovino Thomas contributes Rs 25 lakh and 1,000 steel plates to Wayanad relief efforts

In response to the devastating landslides that have struck Wayanad, actor Tovino Thomas has made a significant contribution to aid the victims of this natural disaster.Demonstrating his commitment to relief efforts, Tovino has donated Rs 25 lakh to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund, providing crucial financial support to those affected.Beyond his monetary donation, Tovino has addressed a specific issue reported in relief camps concerning the use of plastic plates. To offer a more sustainable solution, he has supplied 1,000 steel plates and glasses, enhancing the quality of aid provided to the displaced individuals in the affected areas.Tovino's generosity adds to the substantial contributions made by other prominent figures in the Malayalam film industry. Earlier, actor Mohanlal donated Rs 25 lakh to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund and has now visited Wayanad dressed in his Lieutenant Colonel uniform.During his visit on Saturday (August 3), Mohanlal met with officers and discussed the situation before heading to the worst-hit areas to offer his support.Additionally, Mammootty contributed Rs 20 lakh through the Mammootty Care Foundation. Dulquer Salmaan followed with a donation of Rs 15 lakh, and the star couple Fahadh Faasil and Nazriya Nazim donated Rs 25 lakh via their production company.
