Youth sensation Tovino Thomas teams up with debutant director Arun Bose through the film

. The movie that narrates the story in a non-linear fashion, weaves in both romance and suspense to tell the story. Tovino plays an artist creating beautiful works out of scrap material in the film, which is set in and around Kochi.

Ahaana Krishna

is the leading lady in Luca, which is produced by Linto Thomas and Prince Hussain under the banner Stories and Thoughts. Mridul George and Arun Bose have co-scripted the film. Nithin George, Vineetha Koshy, Anvar Sharif, Shalu Rahim, Pauly Valsan, Thalaivasal Vijay, Jafar Idukki, Chembil Ashokan, Sreekanth Murali, Raghavan, Neena Kurup and Devi Ajith also play major roles in the film. Nimish Ravi is the cinematographer of the movie, which has Nikhil Venu as the editor and Remya Suresh as costume designer. In the film that’s based on an artist’s life, Anees Nadodi is the art director. The installations and sets his team put together had grabbed attention right from the shooting stages.

Sooraj S Kurup, who has earned a name for himself within a short time, is the film’s music director. The songs that are released have already won a place in the hit charts. Luca, which is released by Century Films, hits theatres on June 28.
