Tiyaan is a character-driven film: Murali Gopy
Prithviraj and Indrajith’s Tiyaan is one of the most anticipated movie in Mollywood. The film’s first poster has already got the fans waiting with bated breath for more details.
Now, the movie’s scriptwriter Murali Gopy tells us, “Some screenplays are driven by characters while others by situations. Tiyaan and Left Right Left are character-driven ones but Ee Adutha Kaalathu was a situation-driven screenplay. Tiyaan is a movie that has epic dimensions; so the characters are pivotal in the scheme of things.”
The scriptwriter also has Kammarasambhavam, which has Dileep and Siddharth in the lead, coming up. However, he says that the two films are as different as chalk and cheese. “I have tried to not repeat the type of films. Left Right Left was divergent from Ee Adutha Kaalathu; and both Tiyaan and Kammarasambhavam will be poles apart in terms of the content and their presentation. I have taken two years for the scripts,” he says.
