Title teaser of Dhyan Sreenivasan starrer ‘Detective Ujjwalan’ out - WATCH

Dhyan Sreenivasan is joining hands with the producers of the superhero film ‘Minnal Murali’ for his next. The makers launched the title poster and the teaser on Tuesday, September 3, via social media. The Dhyan Sreenivasan starrer is titled ‘Detective Ujjwalan’, and as the title suggests, the film will feature him in the role of a detective.

The title teaser opens with Ujjwalan (played by Dhyan Sreenivasan) praying to the fictional detective characters from Malayalam cinema - Sethurama Iyer CBI, CID Moosa, Vijayan, and Dasan, along with other iconic characters such as Sherlock Holmes, Batman, and Scooby-Doo.

The promo hints that he is investigating a sensitive case, which could fuel his no-so-flamboyant career. The makers of ‘Detective Ujjwalan’ have confirmed that the upcoming film will be ‘a thrilling ride full of puzzles, suspense, and surprises.’

The makers launched the title teaser on social media and captioned it, “Unveiling the next big mystery in the “Weekend Cinematic Universe”. Presenting “DETECTIVE UJJWALAN”; starring Dhyan Sreenivasan. Brace yourself for a thrilling ride full of puzzles, suspense, and surprises. The adventure is just beginning!”

Written and directed by Indraneel Gopeekrishnan & Rahul G, the upcoming film marks the second installment of the ‘Weekend Cinematic Universe’.

On the technical front, the cinematography for the film is done by Prem Akkattu and Sraiyanti. Chaman Chakko is the editor. The music is composed by Rzee. Koyaz M is the art director. The costumes are designed by Nisar Rahmath. The make up is done by Shaji Pulpally. Sync Cinema is in charge of the sound design, and the sound mixing is done by Aravind Menon
