‘Thuramukham’ teaser: Witness the terrific performance of Nivin Pauly in this Rajeev Ravi film

Finally after a long hiatus, Nivin Pauly’s ‘Thuramukham’ will be hitting the big screens on March 10. Just a day before the release, the makers unveiled the teaser for the movie that promises a brilliant Nivin Pauly under the direction of the renowned filmmaker Rajeev Ravi.

From the teaser, it can be expected that Nivin Pauly will be delivering a terrific performance in the movie ‘Thuramukham’. The movie is touted to be a historical drama film and the screenplay is penned by Gopan Chidambaran based on the play ‘Thuramukham’ written by KM Chidambaran.

‘Thuramukham’s story is set in the backdrop of workers' protests against the infamous ‘Chappa’ system which was practiced at the Mattancherry harbor in Kochi during the years 1940 and 50s. Nivin Pauly will be seen playing the lead character Mattancherry Moidu and Indrajith Sukumaran will be playing the role of Santo Gopalan.

Rajeev Ravi handles the cinematography of ‘Thuramukham’ and the editing section was handled by B Ajithkumar.

‘Thuramukham’ has a casting coup of sorts. Actors Nivin Pauly, Indrajith Sukumaran, Joju George, Sudev Nair, Arjun Ashokan, Manikandan R Achari, Senthil Krishna, and Nimisha Sajayan in significant roles.
