Visionary director Blessy kicked off his magnificent career with the heart-wrenching film 'Kaazhcha', which is said to be an iconic film of Mammootty.

In a throwback moment years ago, Mammootty made a fascinating revelation regarding director Blessy's debut film 'Kaazhcha', which has become an iconic gem in his illustrious career. In a video surfacing on social media, Mammootty discloses that Blessy initially intended to collaborate with Mohanlal for the lead role in his inaugural project, which was supposed to be ‘Thanmathra’.


During a past stage event, Mammootty shared, "My greatest stroke of luck in life is being able to work in a film directed by Blessy. He confided in me that if I hadn't accepted 'Kaazhcha', he had plans to cast Mohanlal in the lead role, perhaps for 'Thanmathra'."

Reflecting on the twist of fate, Mammootty mused, "Maybe Mohanlal would have been the fortunate one to feature in Blessy's debut film. However, due to a fortunate turn of events—whether it was my luck, Blessy's luck, or simply fate—I became the first choice for Blessy's debut venture."

Meanwhile, Blessy has forged enduring collaborations with both Mammootty and Mohanlal, crafting cinematic masterpieces like 'Kaazhcha', 'Thanmathra', 'Palunku', 'Bhramaram', and 'Pranayam'. Each of these films left a deep impact on the audience, lauded for their touching narratives and exceptional performances.

'Aadujeevitham' is currently running successfully in the cinemas. The film has entered the Rs 100 crore club. The film is continuing its success run.
