Throwback Thursday: NFAI honours Mohanlal ahead of his birthday

Mohanlal, the complete actor is celebrating his birthday this Sunday (May 21), and celebrations are afoot. The National Film Archive of India (NFAI) has now shared a rare throwback picture honouring the superstar. The NFAI dropped a picture from the 1983 release Mohanlal starrer ‘Kattathe Kilikoodu’. The black and white picture features Unnikrishnan (played by Mohanlal) riding a motorcycle! In the backdrop, one can also see actress Revathy, who played a pivotal role in the film.
“The actor Mohanlal makes a delightful appearance with Revathi in this photograph from the Malayalam film Kattathe Kilikoodu (1983). Directed by Bharathan, the film was based on a story by the actor Nedumudi Venu. The film also starred Bharath Gopi as Professor "Shakespeare" Krishna Pillai; Srividya as his vichitra veena-playing wife, Sharada; and K.P.A.C. Lalitha as Indira Thampi.
