'Kanmadam' was a critically acclaimed film and featured Mohanlal and Manju Warrier as the leads while Lal essayed the villain Johny. Helmed by veteran filmmaker A K Lohithadas, 'Kanmadam' was regarded as one of the best performances of the trio.


Apart from his act in ‘Saaho’, Lal was recently seen in T V Chandran's 'Pengalila', delivering a notw-worthy act.
