Mollywood actor Tovino Thomas recalls ‘Guppy’ as the movie clocks four. The movie was released on the same day in 2016. Directed by Johnpaul George, ‘Guppy’ was one of the few projects that helped Tovino Thomas in rising to stardom. As the movie is celebrating the fourth year of its release, Tovino Thomas has shared a memory. Sharing a couple of fan-made posters of the movie Tovino Thomas tweeted, “4 years of #Guppy!”

Tovino Thomas has only made a brief appearance in the movie but won hearts for his effortless performance. The actor played Thejus Varkey, an engineer, who is also a wanderlust soul and a good man. The actor was sporting a long beard avatar for the movie, which eventually became a trend amongst youngsters.

The actor was filming for ‘Minnal Murali’ prior to lockdown and sources suggest that the team will be filming the remaining portions once the current scenario improves.
On the personal front, Tovino Thomas is going through a happy phase in life as he and his wife Lidya were blessed with their second child, a baby boy recently. The couple has named him Tahaan. They also have an elder daughter Izza.
