’ was released on the same day, three years ago. As the movie turns three, the filmmaker has taken to his social media to thank his team for making the movie happen. ‘Sunday Holiday’ was released in 2017 and the movie had actors Asif Ali and Aparna Balamurali essaying the leads. The comedy-drama won hearts of the audience for its simple and jovial story.

On the third year of its release, Jis Joy has reminisced about the project and said that the magic in the movie wasn’t done by him but the ‘universal power’. Taking to his Instagram handle, he penned, “Yes, it’s been three years, almost every day I was receiving at least one message stating about this movie. Thank you dear Asif, Aparna, siddhikkaa, Lalitha chechi, Sreeniyetta, Lalu chetta, Asha chechi, darmmajan, Sruthy, Sudheeretta, Alancier, Alphonsa, Shiny & Everyone worked with me for this movie. Yess it’s not just a movie for me but something which helped me to find my path & pattern of writing & Direction!! Great thanks MAQTRO pictures ( Laju, Leeja & sheen Helen ) How could I thank u with mere words, dear Deepakdev for ur amazing music. Thank you Kiran & Urasu for the story, Alex pulickal for the frames, Sagar for being my associate !! Very happy to see this poster, but one thing is true.
