This 'Adipurush' actor has bagged a Malayalam film starring Mammootty

Be it the film or its actors, 'Adipurush' has managed to be in the headlines right from the time of its conception. Manohar Pandey, who played the role of Angad, has bagged a meaty role in a Malayalam film starring Mammootty.

ETimes has exclusively learned that Manohar will star in a film titled 'Kannur Squad', which will be the directorial debut of cinematographer Roby Varghese Raj. A source further informed, "The film will have actors, namely Mammootty, Shabareesh Varma, and Rony Raj, playing other pivotal roles, and It's an investigative thriller that will keep the audience on the edge of their seats. Manohar will play the character who will help the squad find the answers."

We contacted Manohar to know more about the film, and he happily confirmed, "I am very excited for the film as I got a chance to work with so many big actors from the Malayalam film industry." He also shared that the makers are planning to make this film on a pan-India level.

The investigative thriller is written by Muhammad Shafi and Rony David Raj. Interestingly Rony is also acting in the film.
