Ranjan Pramod has come out with an explanation now, which says that the problem is not with the recording but with the theatres. 'A projector operator can fix this issue, depending on the size of the theatre. We will ourselves instruct the projector operator on how to adjust the volume. The maximum output from a theatre should not go beyond 6 points so anything between 5 and 6 points can be attempted.'
The post also says that the same movie was enjoyed by people in other theatres with superior sound quality.
