’ did not excite the box office, said he had a clearer idea of what would work, after having learnt from the mistakes of his first film. “I wrote the script of ‘Ishq’ six years back. Through the movie, we are reacting a bit volubly about a social issue. But it is not just about that. We have tried to point out the stands that people take and tried to capture the insecurities of the characters, so it’s got a different feel,” he said in an online video interview.
