Nimisha Sajayan as a newly married couple. The couple is happy as the wife mesmerizes her husband with his culinary skills, but soon the clear sky turns cloudy! Like the title suggests ‘The Great Indian Kitchen’ has a lot of dishes to offer. The teaser offers the sweet, sour, savory, and bitter and also assures promising film ahead.
Mammootty has unveiled the teaser of ‘The Great Indian Kitchen’ through his Facebook handle. “Presenting The Great Indian Kitchen Official Teaser,” he said launching the teaser.

Directed by Jeo Baby, ‘The Great Indian Kitchen’ is produced by Dijo Augustine, Jomon Jacob, Vishnu Rajan, and Sajin S Raj, under the banner Mankind Cinemas. Symmetry Cinemas, and Cinema Cooks. Mathews Pulickan is the executive producer.
On the technical side, Salu K Thomas is the cinematographer for the film while Francies Louis has roped in as the editor. Sooraj S Kurup and Mathews Pulickan will be jointly handling the music department. Mrudula Devi S and Dhanya Suresh Menon are in charge of the lyrics. Jithin Babu Mannur is the art director and Dhanya Balakrishnan is designing the costumes.
In an exclusive chat with ETimes, the director had earlier shared with us that the kitchen itself plays a pivotal role in the fil. “Kitchen is the heart of every house. But seldom have we seen narratives or films around it. As its title suggests, the kitchen has an imperative role in ‘The Great Indian Kitchen’,” Jeo Baby said.
The principal shooting of the film was carried out in Kozhikode and the film is currently under post-production.
