Thamasha was initially noticed only because of the four men who bankrolled it: Vinay Forrt

Actor Vinay Forrt is now basking in the success of Thamasha in which he plays a college lecturer who is a victim of body shaming. The actor who has been in the industry for almost a decade is now happy that he got a chance to showcase his calibre. "I was lucky to grab this film which is produced by Lijo Jose Pellissery, Chemban Vinod Jose, Shyju Khalid and Sameer Thahir. I strongly believe that the movie was initially noticed only because of the four men who bankrolled it. Otherwise, if at all it was a good film, it might not have enjoyed such a reception," Vinay adds.

An FTII (Film and TV Institute of India) alumni, Vinay debuted in 2009 through Rithu. He then went on to act films such as Shutter.
