From the reportedly tracked box office collections for his recently released commercial entertainer ‘Thallumaala’, can undoubtedly say that the ‘Minnal Murali’ star is finally back on track after delivering a few underwhelming films recently.
Although the makers have not yet announced the first day gross of ‘Thallumaala’, according to the Twitter forums that track box office collection figures, the Tovino Thomas starrer had a humongous opening day as it grossed over Rs 3.5 crores from the Kerala theatres alone on its initial day.
‘Thallumaala’ hit the big screens on August 12 and was received well among the audience as the majority of them hailed the making style and the action sequences coupled with the stunning performances of the actors. According to the sources, ‘Thallumaala’ has the highest ever first-day collection record in Tovino Thomas’ career, and looking at the positive responses, it can be said that the film will mint more in the coming days.
‘Thallumaala’ is said to be tailor-made for young audiences and it's unsure whether the film would satisfy the family audience. If the reports are to be believed, ‘Thallumaala’ has already found its safe zone at the box office as it managed to rake in Rs 3.5 crores on the first day.
