'Thalavara' OTT release: When and where to watch Arjun Ashokan's drama film

After a gap of 2 months since its theatrical release, the Arjun Ashokan-starrer drama film 'Thalavara' has started streaming on OTT. Even though the movie had received good reviews from the audiences, 'Thalavara' failed to collect big numbers at the box office, especially due to the fact that Kalyani Priyadarshan's superhero film 'Lokah' was trending during that time.

The feel-good drama, which hit theaters on August 22, is now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video from this day onwards. The movie was presented by acclaimed filmmaker Mahesh Narayanan.

'Thalavara' revolves around Jyothish, a young man living with vitiligo, portrayed by Arjun Ashokan. Despite facing social prejudice and personal insecurities, Jyothish remains full of hope. The movie revolves around Jyothish's struggles.

Actress Mamta Mohandas took to Instagram to applaud Thalavara. “I want to shine light on a hero who chose a script representing real-life superheroes who fight real battles every day,” she wrote. Mamta lauded Arjun Ashokan for his brave performance and director Akhil Anil Kumar for handling a sensitive subject with grace and simplicity.

Apart from Arjun Ashokan, 'Thalavara' also features the actors Revathy Sharma, Sarath Sabha, Shebin Benson, Ashokan, Sohan Seenulal, Sam Mohan, Abhirami Radhakrishnan, and Devadarshini in pivotal roles.
