Actress Tessa, who is still remembered by Malayali audience for her portrayal of Vimala in the
Mammootty starrer Pattalam, had recently stepped into Mollywood again through character roles. In the upcoming films Gold Coins and Marupadi, she will be seen essaying some striking roles of the genre.
She recollects the days when she debuted as an actor, and how she had taken a U-turn from movies later, anchoring and acting.
Tessa says, 'Back then, I was not serious about movies, and I was more into anchoring. Soon after I completed my post-graduation, I got married and from then on, my focus changed to my family and kids.'
Now that she is back in movies, Tessa tells us that she has become quite passionate about acting. While she will be seen in a lawyer's shoes in the film Marupadi, Gold Coin has her playing the role of a doting mother. 'I have been getting offers from directors for a while now. With the support of my husband, I am now firm on taking up character roles,' says Tessa, as it will also help her devote time to be a mother in real life
