Teaser of Unni Mukundan’s ‘Marco’ to arrive on THIS date

Unni Mukundan’s highly anticipated actioner is gearing up for release in December 2024, and the makers are set to launch the first glimpse, a teaser. The makers of the film have confirmed that the teaser of ‘Marco’ will arrive on Sunday, October 13.

“Get Ready to Witness Pure Rage! #MARCO The Teaser Unleashes on Sunday, 13th October 2024 via Cubes Entertainment’s YouTube Channel. Just the beginning… Stay tuned!” the makers said in a note shared on Instagram.

Directed by Haneef Adeni, ‘Marco’ is a spin-off to the character Marco, played by Unni Mukundan in the 2019 film ‘Mikhael’ starring Nivin Pauly. The upcoming film has Unni Mukundan in the titular role, with actors Siddique, Jagadish, Anson Paul, Kabir Duhan Singh (of “Turbo” fame), Abhimanyu Thilakan, and, Yukti Thareja, in supporting roles.

The film is said to be high on action, and the stunt choreography is executed by renowned action director Kalai Kingston. According to the industry sources, there are seven intense fight sequences, choreographed by Kalai Kingston in the upcoming film. While wrapping up the shoot earlier, the makers said, “Unni Mukundan's tireless energy on set have brought a new level of intensity to the role, making it the standout performance in the film. Get ready to witness Unni Mukundan like never before. His mass action sequences and jaw-dropping transformation in this film are going to set a new standard and we promise to redefine the action genre in Malayalam film industry.”


‘Marco’ marks the Malayalam debut of celebrated music director Ravi Basrur, known for his chartbusters from films ‘K.G.F’, and ‘Salaar’.
