Team ‘Tsunami’ successfully wraps the shoot

’ happens to be the first Malayalam movie to go on floors during the lockdown. The team had been filming indoors in and around Ernakulam, following all the guidelines that the government has issued. The makers of the movie have successfully completed their shoot and have called ‘packup’ today.

Actor Lal and his son Jean Paul Lal are jointly directing the movie and Lal has now penned a note for being able to wrap the shoot, without any problems. He also added saying that they hope their movie will be a beginning as hard work and teamwork would always win a crisis.

Meanwhile, the movie went on the floors by the end of February in Thrissur, but by mid March, they had to temporarily pause the shoot in the wake of the pandemic. The team had 12 days of shoot pending by the time and they resumed filming in June, after the state government gave permission for movies to start indoor filming, with a crew of only 50 members and following all health protocols.

‘Tsunami’ is also scripted by Lal and Balu Varghese is essaying the lead. The movie revolves around a marriage and two families involved in it. Actors Mukesh, Innocent and Suresh Krishna are also playing some of the pivotal roles in the movie. Allan Antony is backing the project, under the banner of Panda Dad Productions. Alex J Pulikkal has cranked the lens while Ratheesh Raj will handle the edits. The movie is expected to be an out-and-out entertainer.
