Tanvi Ram plays a karate blackbelt in Khali Purse of the Billionaires

After Ambili and Kappela, Tanvi Ram will be seen next in the

Khali Purse of the Billionaires

. And in the film, she plays a karate blackbelt holder, who wishes to purse the martial art seriously. The shoot of the film, directed by newbie Maxwell Jose, is currently on in Kochi.

Tanvi tells us, “The name of my character is Nidhi, and she plays the love interest of Dhyan Sreenivasan’s character. I had to undergo a few karate training sessions to understand the basics of the discipline and it went well. I have no background at all in martial arts and I’m excited to enact the role of a blackbelt holder.” Nidhi comes in at a time in which the characters of Dhyan Sreenivasan and Aju Varghese, who are good friends in the film, face a crisis, says Tanvi. “Nidhi is shown as someone who loves martial arts, and seriously wants to pursue it, even after her wedding,” she reveals about her first role as a married woman.

The movie’s director Maxwell reveals that Dhyan and Aju’s characters are named Bibin Das and Bibin Vijay, who are called Dasan and Vijayan by their friends. “It’s a full-on entertainer about two youngsters who chase their dream. The plot takes the audience through the ups and down of their lives and how they overcome it,” he adds.

Dhyan and Aju play entrepreneurs who come to Kochi to start an IT company. “They start their own company that functions in an office-cum-home setup. They face one hurdle after the other from the introduction of GST, two seasons of floods and now the pandemic. The story is about how they try to survive all this and develop the venture,” says Maxwell, adding that the movie will be shot in a single schedule in Kochi. The film will also have cameos from Sunny Wayne, Lena and Ranjini Haridas. Jagadeesh, Ramesh Pisharody and Dharmajan are also part of the cast.
