Swasika is Samuthirakani's new heroine

The Mollywood actress, who will next be seen in Saattai in K-Town, says it's too early for her to decide which industry she's more comfortable working in
Actress Swasika, who is three films old in M-Town, is getting busier by the day with offers pouring in from Mollywood and Kollywood. The actress, who made her Malayalam debut with Cinema Company, is excited as two of her films have hit the theatres this month ' one, a Lal Jose film and the other, Sajeev Anthikad's flick in which she's paired with Unni Mukundan.
Meanwhile, she is also busy in Kollywood, having acted in two flicks ' the latest being Saattai, from the makers of Mynaa, in which she is paired opposite Samuthirakani.
Swasika says it's too early for her to decide which industry she's more comfortable working in. 'From my experience till now, I think the only difference between the two industries is how you are treated. In Malayalam, there is more freedom for an artiste to suggest ideas and interact with the crew unlike in Tamil, where your role is limited exclusively to acting,' she says.
About working in Lal's movie in which she plays Narain's pair, Swasika says, 'Even though mine was not a full-length role, as a beginner, getting to work alongside actors such as Prithviraj, Narain and Samvrutha was a great learning experience. It was also a total shift from my first movie that had nine newcomers.'
Ask her if she was nervous around the seasoned actors and Swasika replies, 'I knew Lal sir since my days of being part of a reality show; so there wasn't any tension as such. Also, he made sure I was introduced to everyone and was comfortable on the sets.'
The actress is currently shooting for Kareem's Parayaan Bakki Vechathu, in which she stars alongside Maqbool Salmaan.
