Swarna Thomas remains critical
The condition of actress Swarna Thomas, who has been admitted to a hospital in Kochi following a fall from the fourth floor of her apartment in Elamakkara, continues to be critical.
She is conscious but her condition cannot be said to be safe yet, said hospital authorities. “She has suffered multiple injuries including spine and pelvic fractures, besides liver congestion, and is currently in the neurosurgery ICU.

We can say something definite only after we get the test results. She is under observation now,” they said.
Swarna was down with fever and had taken a break from shoot. Apparently, she felt dizzy and slipped from the balcony. On Wednesday night, during the time of the accident, her mother was present in their flat, but was unaware of the accident until someone from downstairs informed her, say reports.
Friends of the actress, who took her to the hospital, said that she was talking to them all through but was obviously under great pain. Swarna, who made her M’wood debut through a dance reality show, was born and brought up in Mumbai but is currently living in Kochi with her parents. She had finished the shoot for three upcoming films — Sakkeer Madathil’s Queue, Krishnajith Vijayan’s Flat No 4 B and Raaj Menon’s Buddy.
